Steve is a former U.S. Marine and Law Enforcement professional with over 20 years executive management experience. He is currently the President and Co-owner of Echo Logistical Solutions, LLC, and Executive Director, Owner of BNI Southeastern Virginia. Steve holds an MBA from Saint Leo University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership from Regent University. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. Steve has successfully procured and managed over $100M in U.S. Government and commercial contracts in a variety of industries. He has been responsible for the source selection and execution of numerous high-risk training and security contracts throughout the world. Steve currently provides training and consultative services for small, medium and large contracting firms and assists them in all aspects of government contracting. As an Executive Director of BNI Southeastern Virginia, Steve provides consultative services for over 400 business owners and salespersons, and coordinates effective networking strategies and leadership training programs for organizations in over 70 industries. Since 2014, he has assisted small businesses procure over $50M in federal, state, and local contracts.
Dr. Lisa Renz earned a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Saint Leo University in Business Administration. She earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a major in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Regent University’s School of Business and Leadership. She currently serves on Regent University’s Board of Advisors for the MBA program and is a Beta Phi Fellow and served as a Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow. In March 2010, Lisa spoke at Oxford University regarding “How entrepreneurs learn through business networks.” Lisa is an Adjunct Professor at South University, Regent University, Azusa Pacific Online, and Mid-Atlantic Christian University.
In 2009, Dr. Renz was honored by Inside Business as a Top 40 Under 40. In 2010, she was honored with two awards: a Community Builder Award and Business Person of the Year by The Specialist Radio Hour. In 2012, she was elected to “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.” In 2013, Lisa was selected as “Outstanding Ph.D. Graduate” at Regent University’s School of Business and Leadership.
Dr. Renz is also an executive director of BNI Southeastern Virginia. As an executive director, she provides consulting and instruction to hundreds of businesses in areas such networking, leadership, growth, organizational development, and government contracting. Additionally, Dr. Renz presents at conferences regarding networking, entrepreneurship, leadership, organizational development, workplace privacy and conflict resolution.
